Annual Meeting

The Forum on Music and Christian Scholarship seeks proposals for its upcoming annual meeting, which will take place at the Baylor University School of Music, Waco, TX, from February 29th to March 1, 2008.
The Forum especially invites proposals for a special session fashioned around the theme of “Music, Moral Values, and Christianity” to be followed by a full plenary discussion. At the same time, we welcome proposals on any topic related to music and the study of Christianity; approaches and perspectives such as history, theory and analysis, philosophy and theology, ethnomusicology, critical theory, and the like are all welcome. Papers will be 25 minutes long.
The keynote speaker will be Anne Walters Robertson (University of Chicago).
